The Live Chatbot and Ask AI Chatbot We Sell, We Run

Most software vendors demo a product they do not run their own business on. We do. This is the stack, and this is the invoice.

There is a particular kind of demo that every SaaS buyer learns to distrust. The sales engineer shares a screen. The dashboard is beautiful. The data is synthetic. The form they ask you to submit is a mock-up that no one will read. By the time you sign, you have seen the product every way except the way you will actually use it.

We built LeadWise AI to run on our own business first. The Live Chatbot and Ask AI assistant on our site are not mock-ups. They post to our own serverless endpoint. They run the same bot-detection layer we would configure for you. They have the same field validation, the same consent wording, and the same structured delivery to an inbox someone actually reads. If we were building your site next week, these are the exact engines we would hand over.

This article is about what that means in practice — what we run, where it runs, and how you can verify any of it without taking our word for it.

What running it ourselves actually requires

The phrase "we use what we sell" is easy to say and hard to keep. Five things have to be true at once.

  • A live endpoint. Not a demo, not a sandbox. A server that accepts real submissions from real prospects and does something useful with them.
  • A bot-detection layer. Without one, a live form is a spam magnet. We run the same challenge we would configure for a client, and we turn it off for no one.
  • A qualification flow. Our own enquiries go through the same structured sequence we build for clients: the same questions, the same scoring, the same Level. We do not have a shortcut path for our own traffic.
  • A compliant consent path. Every submission links to a Lead Information Notice and a Privacy Policy. POPIA, in our case. The same regime we would apply to a South African client, and the equivalent for a UK or US one.
  • A delivery system someone reads. Every notification lands in an inbox that is actually monitored, with an auto-reply to the sender confirming receipt. The whole chain is live and in production.

If any one of these five is missing, the claim is theatre. Together, they are the floor.

The channels we run

Every chat channel we sell, we provision for our own business. Not all at once, and not for show. Each one earns its place based on where our own prospects already are.

  • Contact form — live now. The front door on our contact page, and the fastest way to reach a person.
  • Live Chatbot — live now. The same widget we deploy for clients, sitting on every page of our own site.
  • Ask AI Assistant — live now. The public site assistant answering FAQs and guiding users.
  • Ad campaign routing via paid acquisition networks (Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Organic social and post embeds.
  • Direct widget integrations for high-intent traffic.

The rule we hold ourselves to is simple: a feature ships to a client only after it has shipped to us. If we have not personally seen how it behaves under real enquiry traffic, we are not willing to configure it for someone else.

What you would actually get

If we built your site tomorrow, the shape of the delivery would be the same as what we run on our own. Not because we would copy it, but because it is the same stack.

  • A contact form on your own domain, with your fields, your enquiry types, and your consent wording.
  • Bot detection configured for your traffic, not copied from someone else's defaults.
  • A qualification flow built live with you, in a screen share, using your questions and your scoring.
  • Notifications to an inbox you choose, and an auto-reply to the sender in your voice, not a template someone else wrote.
  • Channel provisioning — website chat — switched on as your audiences justify them, not as a package deal.

The point is not that our setup is impressive. It is that there is no gap between the product we demonstrate and the product we run. Same code, same rules, same accountability.
