PAIA Manual
Prepared in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000.
1. Introduction
The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 (PAIA) gives effect to the constitutional right of access to information held by public and private bodies. Section 51 of PAIA requires every private body to compile a manual containing: the particulars of the head of the body, a description of the guide on how to use PAIA, the categories of records held, the process to request access, the fees payable, and the grounds for refusal.

Client records, prospect records, lead records, configuration records, platform records, financial records, correspondence, marketing records, product records, and contractual records.
7. How to Request Access
Complete Form 2 and submit it to the Information Officer at [email protected], by phone on +27 78 97 99 397, or by post to Unit 289, 243 Forest Drive Extension, Pinelands, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7405. The Information Officer will respond within 30 days.
8. Fees Payable
Request fee: R0 for a personal requester, R50 for a third-party requester. Access fee: R1.10 per A4 photocopy, R0.75 per A4 printed copy, R20.00 per CD or USB, actual postage, R50.00 per hour of transcription.
9. Grounds for Refusal
Mandatory and discretionary grounds under PAIA Sections 34–50, including protection of third-party privacy, commercial information, confidential information, records that would endanger life or safety, or prejudice a legal investigation.
10. Remedies
An internal appeal may be lodged with the Information Officer within 60 days of a refusal notice. A complaint may be lodged with the Information Regulator at https://eservices.inforegulator.org.za, by email at [email protected], or by post to JD House, 27 Stiemens Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2001. Judicial review is also available.
